All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ NICEWONGER FUNERAL IS LARGELY ATTENDED The funeral of Miss Elizabeth Nicewonger was held from the First Lutheran church yesterday afternoon and was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. The sermon was preached by Rev. Paul Weidley of Monesson, Pa., assisted by the Rev. Henry H. Stiles and Rev. George Boggs. Each spoke beautifully of the life of the deceased. Mrs. George W. Bott sang two solos with warmth and expression. The Jewel quartet also rendered two beautiful selections. Miss Brehman presided at the organ and rendered several selections. The pallbearers were Messrs. William Ganan, Clyde Cassidy, Robert Gable, Stiles Gilliford, Glenn Kauffman and Paul Winter, the former three being classmates of Miss Nicewonger. The interment was made at Greenwood. The flowers were numerous and beautiful.
