Nicodemus of Martinsburg, died Sunday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock at the Nason hospital in Roaring Spring, death being attributed to a complication of ailments. She was the daughter of Jacob and Rebecca Russell and was born at St. Clairsville on June 16, 1882, and was united in marriage with Mr. Nicodemus at Curryville on May 6, 1902. Surviving are the husband and four children, Chalmer, Oscar and Mrs. Kenneth Gates, all of Martinsburg, and Mrs. Eugene L. Garber of Roaring Spring. One daughter, Mrs. William Pack, is deceased. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Howard Kegarise and Mrs. John Wisler, both of Martinsburg, and Jacob Russell of Altoona, and thirteen grandchildren. Mrs. Nicodemus was a member of the Memorial Church of the Brethren. Friends are being received at the home on Locust street, Martinsburg. Altoona Mirror (Pg 18) May 6, 1940
