The remains of Edward Nolan, a brakeman on the Monongahela division of the Pennsylvania railroad, who was killed in a railroad accident on Friday last, were brought to this station on Saturday evening and taken to the home of his brother-in-law, Herbert Bice, of North Pennsylvania avenue, above Fifteenth street, where funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock; interment following in Oak Grove cemetery. The deceased was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sexton, and some three years ago was a brakeman on Conductor Hezekiah Miller's train, Tyrone and Harrisburg coal. He was a member of the Order of Railway Trainmen, and also of the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief department. Morning Tribune, Monday, January 22, 1900
