BRIEF ILLNESS FATAL TO FORMER POLICMAN.  

  Dorsey Allen Noye, aged 32, of 402 Second street, Juniata, a member 
of the city police department for a period of seven years, died at the 
Mercy hospital at 6:05 o'clock this morning after a brief illness.  He 
was admitted to the hospital on Dec. 31.  He was born in Altoona on 
July 10, 1903, a son of John M. and Mrs. Ella Noye, and had resided in 
Altoona all his life.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Irene (Alexander) 
Noye; his mother, Mrs. Ella Walker of 2902 Fourth avenue; two step-
brothers and one step-sister, Earl and Elby Walker and Mrs. Mildred 
Davis, all of the city.  Mr. Noye was of the Methodist faith.  The body 
may be viewed at the Walker home. - January 2, 1936 newspaper clipping
