At half-past 8 o'clock Saturday evening Mr. Frank O'Connor died suddenly of heart disease at his home, 704 Eighth street. The deceased was subject to heart trouble and for a week past had not worked. He was sitting in a chair in one of the down stairs rooms when the summons came to him at the time noted above. The deceased was the son of Bernard and Matilda O'Connor and was aged 24 years and 4 months, having been born in Newry on March 22, 1875. He was employed as a clerk at the Belmont house. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers - John and Charles, all residing at 704 Eighth street. He was a member of St. Mark's Roman Catholic church. The funeral will take place this morning, leaving the house at a quarter of 9 o'clock and proceeding to the church where services will be held. Altoona Tribune, Monday, July 24, 1899
