MRS. MARY E. OSMAN

Former resident of Altoona, died Thursday evening at 7 o'clock at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Latshaw of Pittsburgh.  Mr. Osman was born Feb. 
23, 1863, in Colyer, Centre county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John 
Mersinger.  He husband, Alfred Osman, preceded her in death.  Surviving are 
one son, Laird E. of Turtle Creek; three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Latshaw, at 
whose home she died; Mrs. W. A. Arbogast of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. R. R. 
Caraher of Pittsburgh; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one 
brother, Edward Mersinger of Colburn, Pa.  While in Altoona Mrs. Osman was a 
member of the First Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received at the 
Mauk & Yates funeral home after 6 o'clock this evening.
