Sandra Lee Osterhout
April 5, 1944 - Jan. 6, 2009

  Sandra Lee Osterhout, 64, Sinking Valley, died Tuesday at Altoona 
Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.  She was born in 
Altoona, daughter of Newell and Carrie Belle (Gunsallus) Wilson. She 
was first married to William Snyder, who preceded her in death. Then on 
Sept. 14, 1963, in Tyrone, she married Mahlon R. Osterhout Sr.  
Surviving are her husband: two sons: Mahlon R. Jr. and wife, Bonnie, of 
Sinking Valley and William Snyder Jr. in Minnesota; a daughter, Darlene 
R. Tuskovich and husband, Paul, of Tyrone; seven grandchildren; five 
great-grandchildren; numerous stepgrandchildren; stepchildren: Barbara 
L. Miller and husband, Reginald, Mahlon C., and Suzanne L. Decker and 
husband, Thomas, all of Tyrone; a brother, Warren D. Wilson of Tyrone; 
a stepbrother, Richard Wilson of Tipton; and a stepsister, Karen Wilson 
of Tipton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Wilson; and a 
stepson, Arthur L. Osterhout Sr.  Sandy enjoyed spending time with her 
grandchildren. She liked going to flea markets, bird watching, wildlife 
and her dogs.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 
10, 2009, at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone, with Pastor Peggy Bonsell 
officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be 
received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
