DEATH OF ALDERMAN O'TOOLE'S MOTHER.

  Mrs. Rosie O'Toole, mother of Alderman John O'Toole, died at her home in 
Houseville, Preston county, W.Va., on Friday last, of old age.  She had 
reached her 95th year.  Alderman O'Toole was notified of her illness and was 
on his way to her bedside when [s]he died.  The old lady was born in Newry, 
Ireland, and was married in that country.  She came to America with her 
husband fifty-three years ago.  Twenty years ago her husband died.  She is 
survived by five children - John, of this city, Michael, of Louisville, 
Patrick and Mrs. Alice Johnson of West Virginia, and Mrs. Mary Roach of near 
San Antonio, Texas.  The remains of the venerable lady were interred in the 
Catholic cemetery at Houseville, W.Va., this morning.
