Over died Sunday morning at 9.18 o'clock at his home, 906 Penn street, Hollidaysburg, of influenza-pneumonia, after an illness of one week. Mr. Over resided at Hollidaysburg since June and was superintendent of the Berwind-White Car repair shops at Bald Hill. He came to Blair county from Philadelphia where he held a clerical position with the Pennsy. He also formerly held a similar position with the company in Altoona. Clementz Fluke Over was the son of John A. and Mollie Over and was born in Woodbury November 5, 1886. Surviving are his wife, Eliza Stayer Over, and four children, Robert, Ralph, Paul and Mary Elizabeth; his parents, and the following brothers and sisters: Frank of Altoona, Cyrus of Hollidaysburg, Samuel and Lee, with the American army in France, Roy, Arnold, Charles and Mahlon, of Woodbury, Mrs. Earl Hoffman and Mrs. Clyde Seil of Woodbury, and Margaret and Dessa, at home. Deceased was a life long member of the Church of the Brethren. Funeral services were held at the home at 7:30 Tuesday evening and the remains taken Wednesday morning to Woodbury, where services were held and interment made in the Replogle cemetery.
