BILLIE C. OVERTON  

  Billie C. Overton, Bloomfield, RD 3, Ind., died after a lengthy 
illness on Saturday at 6 a.m. at the Linton Hospital, Linton, Ind.  He 
was born Nov. 3, 1903, at Mt. Pleasant, Tex, a son of Claud and Ruby 
Huffman Overton.  He was married April 18, 1946 at Santa Fe, N. M. to 
Mary V. Tahaney, who survives.  Also surviving is a son, Daniel C., at 
home.
  Mrs. Overton is a daughter of Mrs. Myrtle M. Tahaney and sister of 
Mrs. Madelon M. Feller, both of Tyrone.
  He was a member of the Holy Name Roman Catholic Church of Bloomfield, 
and retired Crane Ammunition Depot, Crane, Ind., in 1967 after 18 years 
with the plant's maintenance division.
  Requiem Mass will be said Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew 
Catholic Church, Tyrone, the Rev. John Sasway celebrant.  Burial will 
be In Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Feller 
Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday after 7 p.m., and on Wednesday until 
the hour of the Mass. A recitation of the rosary will be held at the 
funeral home on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
