He was born in Italy 69 years ago. His wife, Rose Padula, died April 23, 1944. Mr. Padula was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad for 43 years as a laborer and hostler at East Altoona, retiring in 1944. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Lloyd of Pittsburgh, Anthony and Dominec of Bellwood, Mrs. Margaret Shalock of East Juniata, Miss Diana of Bellwood and Mrs. Mary Schwartz of Pittsburgh; also a brother, Louise [sic] Padula of Pittsburgh; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Romano of Tyrone, and nine grandchildren. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church, Bellwood. Friends are being received at the home. Altoona Mirror, Tuesday, July 27, 1948, page 2
