ROBERT C. PARK 

  Robert C. Park, 88, Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, formerly of 2610 Quail 
Ave., died Monday evening, March 8, 1999, at the home, following an extended 
illness.
  He was born Aug. 1, 1910, in Tyrone, the son of the late Thomas G. and 
Blanche (Calderwood) Park.  He married Ruth E. Barefoot April 1, 1934, in 
Altoona.
  Mr. Park was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church.
  He retired as a sergeant from the Penn Central Railroad Police Department 
in 1973, after 30 years of service.
  Mr. Park was a member of Hiram Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, and the 
Valley of Altoona Scottish Rite.
  Surviving are his wife of the Lutheran home at Hollidaysburg; a daughter, 
Nancy P. Hitchings of Altoona; a son, Robert D. of Camp Hill; and three 
grandchildren.
  Friends will be received at the Daniel Myers Funeral Home.
  Service by Rev. Brian Armen.  Interment Alto Reste.
