Parks and a former resident of Tyrone, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Reuben Bamtleon, 108 North Jay street, Lock Haven, Sunday night at 9.15 o'clock. Mrs. Parks was a daughter of James and Susan Langley and was born at Mill Hall Oct. 6, 1853. On Feb. 11, 1869, at Franklinville, Huntingdon county, she was married to John D. Parks, who died a number of years ago. Surviving are these children: David Parks of Tyrone, Mrs. Reuben Bamtleon of Lock Haven, Charles M. Parks of Womelsdorf, Mrs. Edward Stroup of Tyrone, Mrs. Howard Hunter of Ironsville, and Mrs. Harold Shaefer of East Freedom; thirty grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First Methodist church of Tyrone. Friends will be received at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stroup, 1562 Blair avenue, Tyrone, after 10 o'clock tomorrow morning.
