PARKS Well Known Grazierville Resident Died Early Today This morning at three o'clock, John M. Parks, well known and much respected resident of Grazierville, passed to his reward after an illness of four weeks with a complication of diseases. John Montgomery Parks was a son of Daniel and Lucinda Pergum Parks both deceased. He was born in Cambria county, August 27, 1857, and on November 19, 1884 was united in marriage in Tyrone with Miss Laura Parks, who with these sons and daughters survive: Edgar L. Parks, Tyrone; Mrs. W. A. Roub, Bellwood; James Stine Parks and Miss Cora Parks at home. One brother, Harry Parks of Johnstown and ten grandchildren also survive. Mr. Parks was a member of the Grazierville Methodist Episcopal church and an honorary member of Washington camp No. 735 Patriotic Order Sons of America, Tyrone. He was an excellent citizen. Funeral services will be held at the Grazierville Methodist church on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by Rev. J. T. T. Cummings. Interment at Grazierville.
