DEATH OF MRS. JANE PARSONS

At half past 12 o'clock on Saturday afternoon Mrs. Jane Parsons, widow of 
Joseph Parsons, died at her home at Third Avenue, between Fourth and Fifth 
Streets, after a long illness from rheumatism.  She had for fifteen years 
been a sufferer, and since the death of her husband, on January 5 last, had 
been confined to her bed.   Deceased was born in England Jun 28, 1829, and 
came to this country in 1851.  She had been a resident of Altoona for thirty-
four years past and was the sister of Mrs. Flora Webb and also of the late 
Mrs. W. T. Marriott.  She leaves one son, Rhoderick Parsons.
