He was born March 21, 1940 in Blacklick, Pa. a son of the late Arthur and Winifred (Moyer) Partner. He married Patricia Wharton on June 26, 1965. Surviving are his wife; two daughters: Wendy McCloskey and husband, Sam of Altoona and Susan Loso and husband, Frank of Sanford, FL; two sons: Arthur Partner, III and wife, Stephanie of Hollidaysburg and Thomas Partner and wife, Jody of Bellwood; eight grandchildren: Sam and Katie McCloskey, John and Chris Loso, Seth and Olivia Partner and Alyson and Jalynn Partner; four sisters: Rose Davis and husband, Vernon of Blandburg, Margie Campbell and husband, Ken of Barefoot Bay, FL., Alice Witt and husband Jerry of Altoona, Theresa Wyland and husband, Clair of Bellwood and brother, George Partner and wife, Barb of Bellwood. Arthur was preceded in death by sisters: Betty Hamilton and Ruth Stine and a niece Vicki Stine. He retired from PPG, Tipton in 2002 after 29 years of service in the maintenance Dept. He was a Navy veteran. Arthur was a member of the Bellwood Sportsman, The National Rifle Association and the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellwood. Arthur was a 1958 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, hunting, fishing and going to camp. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 11 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2007 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellwood by Father Raymond Crosser. Committal will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
