HOLLIDAYSBURG DEPARTMENT.

  Mrs. Thomas Patterson, of Williamsburg, mother of Mayor Patterson, of 
Harrisburg, is dead after months of suffering and at a good old age.  She was a 
woman of great kindness of heart, and a faithful Christian, having been a 
member of the Presbyterian Church for many years, and a loving mother.  She 
will be missed by many, and her new made grave will be bedewed by the tears of 
those who mourn not for her but for themselves.

The 1860 census of Williamsburg shows Thomas, age 57, and Margaret, age 52.  
She is named as Margarett in the 1870 census.
