William Patterson, who resided in this city for a number of years, but who for the last three years has been a resident of Chicago, died in Kensington, a suburb of that city, on Monday evening, aged about 34 years. He was a painter by trade and while here was employed in the lower shops, where he made many friends, who will regret to hear of his death. He was a native of Loudon, Franklin county, where his aged mother resides. His brother, John Patterson, who is a train dispatcher, with headquarters at Pittsburgh, left for Chicago on Monday night.
