Wednesday, 21 February 1923

Mrs. Ella M. Paul, widow of the late Major J. C. Paul, died at her home at her 
home at Neff's Mills at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon of a complication of 
diseases, after an illness of about three months. She was a member of the 
Moresville Methodist church. Deceased was born in Harrisburg, June 23, 1843. 
One son, J. C. Paul, of Neff's Mills, survives. The deceased until ten years 
ago was a resident of Altoona, having come here with her parents when quite 
young. The remains are to arrive in Altoona Friday evening at 7:30 and will be 
taken to the Stevens Mortuary where friends may view the body. Funeral services 
will be held at 10:30 Saturday morning and interment will be made at Fairview 
Cemetery.

Ella was the daughter of George and Susan (Groff) Hawksworth.
