Pearce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Pearce, of 307 Second avenue, died at the home of the parents at 6:30 o'clock last evening after a short illness. Deceased was born in Baltimore, October 27, 1898 and came to this city with her parents in 1903. She was a graduate of the Altoona High school, being one of the honor pupils of the class of 1915. She was a member of the Third Presbyterian church and besides her parents is survived by three sisters and one brother as follows: Mary, Martha and Helen, at home and Frederick H. Pearce, of Company A, 15th Railway Engineers. She was well known and esteemed by a wide circle of friends. The funeral will take place Monday afternoon with services at 2:30 o'clock.
