JOHN A. PEARSON

Of 1500 Nineteenth street, former well known hotel proprietor and a resident 
of Altoona for the past forty-nine years, died at his home at 4.05 o'clock 
this morning after an extended illness.  He was born in Halmstead, Sweden, on 
Dec. 25, 1870.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ella (McCann) Pearson; one son 
and one daughter, John W. Pearson and Mrs. Rudolph W. Seidel, both of the 
city, and nine grandchildren.  Mr. Pearson was the last surviving member of 
his immediate family.  The body may be viewed at the Jones funeral home.

PEARSON - The funeral of John A. Parson of 1500 19th St. will be held Tuesday 
morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Leo's church.  Interment in St. 
John's cemetery.  The body may be viewed at the Jones funeral home.
