WILLIAM H. PEASE
 
  Funeral service was conducted today at the Bigelow Funeral, Altoona, 
for William H. Pease of Altoona RD 3, Sinking Valley, who died Friday 
at 5:03 p.m. at his home following an extended Illness.  
  He was born in Jamaica, Long Island, N.Y., on Oct. 30, 1889, a son of 
Dr. Frederick N. and Delia (Morris) Pease, and was twice married, first 
to Claire Mansfield, who died in 1941, and to Catherine Bessie 
Clabaugh, who died Dec. 15, 1964.  
  He is survived by four children, Mrs. Doris Crawford and William M. 
of Sinking Valley; Richard H. of Tyrone, and Mrs. Phyllis Albright, 
with whom he resided. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 12 great-
grandchildren.  
  He was a member of the First Church of God, Altoona.  
  He retired as a machinist from the South Altoona shops of the 
Pennsylvania Railroad In 1959 after 50 years of service.
