DEATH OF A CHILD.

  Gertrude, the 6-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Peiffer 
of 1328 Sixteenth street, died on Monday morning at 11 o'clock in 
Pittsburgh where the family visited.  The remains were brought to this 
city yesterday afternoon and taken to the family home, from which place 
the funeral will be held.
