ALEXANDER PERKINS.

  At 10 o'clock Sunday night Alexander Perkins, colored, died at the 
almshouse of a complication of diseases.  Deceased was aged about 60 
years and had been an inmate of the county home for about two months.  
He was familiarly known as Alex, and for many years was employed as a 
porter at various hotels on Tenth avenue.
