Mrs. Alice Myrtle Perks, wife of Frank C. Perks, of Altoona, died at her home, November 26, at 2.45 o'clock, of tuberculosis, after an illness of one year. She was born in Tyrone and had been a resident of Altoona for the past two years. She was a member of the Simpson Methodist Episcopal church and is survived by her mother, and step- father, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Hahn, of Tyrone; William McFarland, of Philipsburg, a brother; and A. J. and Charles Hahn, step-brothers, both of Tyrone, as well as a step-sister, Mrs. May Dennis, of Williamsport. The remains were taken to Philipsburg Thursday morning, where interment will be made Saturday afternoon. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., Thursday, December 4, 1913
