JOSEPH FREDERICK PERNELL Died at his home in Antis township at 5 o'clock yesterday after having been ill for the past eight months. He was born in Antwerp, Belgium, on Sept. 29, 1880, a son of Ferdinand and Marie Theresa (VanHorn) Pernell, and had resided in Antis township for the past thirteen years, being employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company as a car inspector. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Verna (Stevens) Pernell, one daughter, Mrs. C. E. Figard of this city, and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the home at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon with Rev. E. A. Peters, pastor of the Grace Lutheran church, officiating.
