Philage, 83, formerly of Logan Avenue, Tyrone died Monday, May 3, 2004 at 10:20 a.m. at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was born Aug. 18, 1920 in Shamokin, a daughter of Harry E. and Sara (Campbell) Young. On July 22, 1939 in Montandon, she married Frank A. Philage. He died March 12, 1982. Surviving is a daughter, Linda J. Myers of Landisburg; a son, James A. of Miami, Fla.; five grandchildren, Button and Dustin Myers, Anthony and Gemma Philage, and Yvette Myers-Hanks; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Seth, Kara, Dylan and Taylor Myers, and Haven Myers-Hanks; and a sister, Roslyn McDaniel of Birmingham, Ala. She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. Mrs. Philage was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Rita. She was formerly employed at Big Yank in Tyrone. She enjoyed knitting and crafts. Funeral mass will be held Friday, May 7, 2004 at noon at St. Matthew Church with Fr. Joseph T. Orr as celebrant. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park. There will be viewing at the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon.
