ALBERT I. "BERT" PHILLIPS, JR. 

  Albert I. "Bert" Phillips, Jr., 46, of Northwood, 250 Main St., 
Tyrone, died at his residence Tuesday, June 21, 2005.
  He was born November 31, 1958 in Tyrone, a son of Audrey L. Detwiler 
and the late Albert I. Phillips, Sr.
  He is survived by a son, Benjamin Phillips; his mother, Audrey 
Phillips Welch; two sisters and two brothers: Susan Strayer (Bob), 
Nancy Gunsallus (Mike), Samuel C. Phillips and Richard A. Phillips; a 
step-sister Tammie Welch, all of Tyrone; his aunt, Maxine Hannah of 
Tipton; five nieces; one nephew and several cousins.
  He was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 1976.
  He was last employed at Gardners Candies and was self-employed as a 
lawn caretaker and landscaper.
  Private services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 2 p.m. at 
the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor Richard McCahan 
officiating. Interment will be at Baughman Cemetery.
