CHARLES PIERSON

Died at the Altoona hospital at 9:15 o'clock Sunday morning of dropsy 
of the heart, aged 63 years.  He was admitted for treatment three weeks 
ago.  He came here from Dysart, Cambria county, where he was a 
prosperous merchant and ex-postmaster.  His wife and several children 
survive to mourn their loss.  Funeral services at 3 o'clock tomorrow 
afternoon by Rev. Benscoter; interment in Fairview cemetery.
