Mrs. Elizabeth Piper, aged 77, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cora Cornelius, 2913 Beale avenue, at 10:20 o'clock Wednesday evening, of a complication of diseases, following an illness of over a year. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Elmer, Howard, Mrs. Emma Deyarmin, Adie, Frank, Mrs. Alice Merritts, Jessie and Mrs. Cora Cornelius, at whose home she died. She is also survived by one brother, George Stover, of Roaring Spring; three sisters, Mrs. Harriet Jones, of Red Oak, Ia.; Mrs. Susan Albright, of Polo, Ill., and Mrs. Ella Kantner, of this city. Thirty-four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Piper was a member of the Lutheran church of Duncansville. The pastor will have charge of the funeral services, which will be held at the home of her daughter at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, followed by interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
