Ira Piper, a former resident of Duncansville, was run down by a street car 
near Coraopolis Saturday evening and killed.  His remains were taken to the 
home of his brother Adie Piper, near Duncansville, from which place the 
funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Interment in Carson 
Valley cemetery.  Deceased was aged 24 years.
