Presumed to be an Altoona Paper JAMES EDWARD PIPER Of 110 Tenth avenue, Juniata, died at his home at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Piper was born July 15, 1872, in Harrison City, a son of Dr. Henry B. and Mrs. Mary G. Piper. He moved to Tyrone in his early youth, but for the past 45 years made his home in Juniata. He retired 13 years ago as a machinist in the P.R.R., but more recently worked in the toolroom department. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret (Owens) Piper; one daughter and son, Mrs. Louise Stone of Pittsburgh and Charles O. Piper of Harrisburg; four grandchildren and one brother, William G. of Wilmington, Del. He attended the First Methodist church of Juniata. Friends will be received at the Karns Funeral home after 6 o'clock this evening.
