PIPER Of Duncansville, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Barnes of Duncansville, R.D. 2, Tuesday afternoon after a two years' illness. She was born June 13, 1874, at Poplar Run, a daughter of Abraham and Rachel (Reffner) Stiffler. She was the widow of Charles Piper, who died in 1903. Surviving are two daughters, Naomi Jane Piper of Harrisburg and Mrs. Alverda Barnes; one son, Irvin of Hopewell, and one sister, Mrs. Jane Coy of Van Ormer. Mrs. Piper was a lifelong member of the Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran church. Friends will be received at the Liebegott funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. PIPER - Funeral services for Minnie B. Piper of Duncansville will be held at the Liebegott Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, in charge of Rev. G.B. Harman. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
