Piper died at her home on Chestnut street, Duncansville, at 9.05 o'clock this morning. Her death was caused by a complication of diseases from which she had been ill for the past two weeks. She was born April 5, 1894, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Helsel of Maple Hollow. The parents, her husband and three children; Kenneth, Earl, and Elta survive together with the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. John Stiener, of Hollidaysburg; Mrs. Harvey Nicodemus, of Juniata; Hayes A. Helsel, of Cross Keys; Luther of Juniata; Mrs. John Peters of Duncansville; Ethel, Gladys, and Elle Helsel, at the parents home. She was a member of the Duncansville Lutheran church. The funeral will take place on Wednesday with services at the home at 2.30 o'clock in charge of Rev. I. V. Krider. Interment will be made in Carson Valley cemetery.
