MARGARET PLETTE Died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Wallace B. Archey, 804 Twenty-fifth avenue, at 8.45 o'clock last evening. She was born in Marysville, Dauphin county, on July 22, 1866, a daughter of John and Carolyn Wetzler, and on July 15, 1891, married George L. Plette, who died in 1923. As a young woman she resided and taught school in Juniata county, coming to Altoona at the time of her marriage. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, G. W. Lloyd Plette of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Russell Battershalle of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Archey of the city and A. Lednum Plette of Wilkinsburg, and three grandchildren. Mrs. Pelette [sic] was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church. Friends are being received at the Laughlin funeral home. PLETTE - Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret (Wetzler) Plette of 801 Twenty- fifth avenue, will be held at the Laughlin funeral home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Paul L. Reaser.
