A former resident of Altoona, who for a number of years made his home in Cleveland, died of a heart attack at 4.30 o'clock Friday morning while in route from Chicago to Cleveland. His wife was with him when he was stricken. Mr. Plummer was the son of the late John W. and Catherine Plummer of this city. He had been located in the Ohio city for a number of years, being employed by the Cleveland Gear company. He was of the United Brethren faith. Surviving are his widow and one son, Kenneth Plummer, jr. He also is survived by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Florence Bush, Mrs. Harry Sellers, Mrs. Oscar Brumbaugh, Mrs. Helen Francis of Altoona, John Plummer of Alabama, Fred Plummer of New York and Mrs. Pearl West of St. Petersburg. Mr. and Mrs. Sellers and nieces, Mrs. Dean Corrigan and Mrs. William Bayle, attended the funeral Monday. Interment was made at Cleveland. Altoona Mirror, July 22, 1941
