Plummer, one of Tyrone's best known women, died at her home at 1500 Columbia avenue, this morning at 3.40 o'clock. Mrs. Plummer had been in ill health since last June but on Friday suffered a stroke of paralysis which was the cause of death. She was born in Lewistown, Nov. 8, 1855, the daughter of Robert J. and Mrs. Sarah Spalding McCurdy and was united in marriage with Mr. Plummer, Nov. 17, 1880, and was a resident of Tyrone for the past forty years. She is survived by her husband and one son, Ralph L. Plummer of Tyrone, and two daughters, Mrs. James Burrows of Lansing, Mich., and Helen R. Plummer, a nurse in New York city. She is also survived by one brother, William F. McCurdy of New York city. She was a member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist church and of the various societies of the church and was a devoted mother and fine Christian woman. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. Gordon A. Williams. Interment will be made in Greenlawn cemetery.
