MRS. ELIZABETH POPE

Wife of Charles Pope, died at the home of a son, Howard Pope, 719 Jones 
street, Hollidaysburg, at 1205 o'clock yesterday noon after an extended 
illness. She was born at Blue Knob on Feb. 11, 1860, a daughter of 
Daniel and Julianna Helsel. Surviving are her husband, two sons and one 
daughter, Howard and Frank Pope of Hollidaysburg and Mrs. Cora Beasley 
of Burban, Ala.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two 
brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Beegle of Duncansville, Mrs. 
Matilda Green of Ohio, Alex Helsel of Hollidaysburg and Samuel Helsel 
of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Pope was a member of Zion Lutheran church. Funeral 
services will be held at the home at 3.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. 
Interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
