MRS. HELENA POREMSKY

  Mrs. Helena Wertner Poremsky, wife of Joseph Poremsky, of 108 Broad street, 
Gaysport, died at 12:10 o'clock yesterday morning after a week's illness of a 
complication of diseases.  Deceased with the daughter of Pius, deceased, and 
Christina Wertner and was born May 17th, 1884.  Besides the husband and 
mother she is survived by the following children: Amelia, Herman George, 
Eleanor, Paul and Claudia, all at home.  One brother, Joseph Wertner, of 
Altoona, and these sisters also survive: Mrs. Matilda Weidmann, Mrs. Teresa 
Hartzer, Mrs. Anna Schwarzer and Mrs. Caroline Resig, all of Altoona.  Mrs. 
Poremsky was a consistent member of St. Michael's church of Hollidaysburg.  
The funeral will take place Friday morning at 9 a.m. from St. Michael's 
church, Hollidaysburg, with interment to follow in St. Michael's cemetery.
