ROBERT STECKMAN PORTER

Of 1412 Sixth avenue, died at 8.30 o'clock last night at his home after 
having been ill for several years of a heart ailment.  He was born on 
Sept. 10, 1893, in Pittsburgh, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George O. 
Steckman.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel (Ewing) Porter; one son, 
Robert E., one grandson, and one half-brother, Hugh M. Steckman of 
Brooklawn, N.J.  Mr. Porter was of the Presbyterian faith.  Friends are 
being received at the Gilden funeral home.
