GEORGE V. POUNDS

  Mr. Pounds, 61, of 505 21st Ave. died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1981, in 
his home, after an extended illness.
  Mr. Pounds retired as a driver from the McNally Gittney Co.
  He was born July 19, 1920, in Altoona, the son of Jesse L. and Irene (Ramsey) 
Pounds, and July 9, 1947, in Altoona, married Jennie Gunesch.
  Surviving is his wife.
  Also surviving are four sisters and a brother: Mrs. Nora Powley, Mrs. Dora B. 
VanSickel and Mrs. Freda Hauser of Altoona, Mrs. Mary Anderson of Parma, Ohio, 
and Ralph of Duncansville RD.
  Mr. Pounds was a member of the Fourth Lutheran Church. 
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Leslie E. Axe Funeral 
Home.

POUNDS - Services for George V. Pounds of 505 21st Ave. will be held at 9:30 
a.m. Saturday in the Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, by the Rev. Ronald H. McClung. 
Interment in Alto-Reste Park. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday 
in the funeral home.
