She was born in Bedford county on Oct. 22, 1852, a daughter of Adam and Isabel (Martmore) Diehl, and was twice married, first to Harry Shew and later to Lloyd Pressel. Both husbands preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Andrew Paul Shew* of the city; two step- daughters, Mrs. John Ellenberger of Eldorado and Mrs. William McMonigle of Harrisburg; five grand-children, one sister and one brother, Mrs. Thomas Cook of Reynoldsdale and Asa Diehl of Ohio. Mrs. Pressel was a member of the First Lutheran church and of the Brehman Bible class and Ladies Aid society of the church. The body may be viewed at the Tobias & Laughlin funeral home where services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery. Mrs. Lottie Pressel died Dec. 6 at her home in Altoona. She was a daughter of Adam and Isabel (Martmore) Diehl; and born in Friends Cove on Oct. 22, 1852, and twice married. Her husbands, Harry Shew, and Lloyd Pressel, both preceded her in death. A sister, Mrs. Thomas Cook of Reynolds Dale survives. Funeral services were held Wednesday and interment made in Altoona.
