PRESSEL A retired car repairman of the westbound repair shop, Pennsylvania railroad, died at his home, 910 Third street, Juniata, Saturday night at 10.35 o'clock. He was born in Blair county on Jan. 2, 1866, a son of Jacob and Mary (Klotz) Pressel. He was twice married, first to Barbara Ellen Miller, who died on June 9, 1899. To this marriage were born two children, who survive, Charles Tracy Pressel of New Enterprise, and Mrs. Arvilla Rawson, at home. Later he married Mary Johnson of Franklinville, who died on May 31, 1936. Surviving to this marriage are a son, Robert W. Pressel of Hagerstown, Md., and Mrs. Anna Brown, Irwin. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, a brother, Harry Pressel of Altoona, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Ferry of Roaring Spring. Mr. Pressel was a member of the Trinity Reformed church of Altoona and the Loyalty Bible class. He retired from the railroad company on Jan. 1, 1937. Friends are being received at the home.
