PRICE - July 2d, 1873, in Elizabeth City, N.C., Alfred James Price, 
formerly of Hollidaysburg, Pa., in the twenty-seventh year of his age. 
His acquaintances were as tenderly attached to him there, as in his 
former home, being a special favorite of all wherever he went. As he 
was a member of the Odd Fellows, they turned out with the band in 
solemn and handsome array. It is said that the funeral was the largest 
known there for a long time. He was buried on the morning of the 4th.
