ALLEN A. PRICE 
 
  Allen A. Price, 419 Bellview ave., Bellwood, died Tuesday at 5:40 
a.m. in Mercy Hospital, Altoona, after an extended illness.  
  He was born July 2, 1885, at Philadelphia, the son of William A. and 
Matilda Sawyer Price.  On Dec. 1, 1913 he married Mary Evans at 
Cumberland, Md.
  Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Beulah Myers, of Erie; five 
grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Bess 
Mulhollen, Hampton, Va.; Mrs. Edgar McCord and Mrs. Maude Beatty, of 
Arlington, Va.  
  He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Bellwood.  He retired 
from the Pennsylvania Railroad Co. in 1950 after 35 years of service as 
a locomotive repairman.  
   Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson 
Mortuary, Bellwood, in charge of the Rev. Ardell G. Gould.  Burial will 
be in Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.  Friends will be received at the 
mortuary after 7 p.m. today.
