At 3:30 Thursday afternoon Mrs. Anna Maria Price, widow of Lyman Price, died at her home in Duncansville, of pneumonia and a complication of diseases, following an illness of about eight weeks. Mrs. Price was a daughter of James and Mary Ross and was born at Duncansville, December 1, 1846, being aged 70 years and 20 days. She was the last of her family. Her husband preceded her to the grave thirteen years ago last April. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, the Ladies' Temple, Ladies' circle of the G.A.R. For twelve years she had been a teacher in the primary department of the Methodist Episcopal Sunday school. Three children survive her: Edward and Harry Price, of Altoona; Mrs. Minnie Duffin, at home; also by four grandchildren. Mrs. Price had spent her entire long and useful life in Duncansville and was one of the most highly respected residents. Funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30, in the Hicks Memorial Methodist Episcopal church. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
