At 5.30 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. D. W. Price died at her home, 1930 Tenth avenue, as the result of a tumor of the brain, with which she had suffered for about a year. Deceased was born in Huntingdon county, April 3, 1833, and had resided in Altoona for thirty-five years. She was married to Mr. Price in 1855, and he survives, with two children - Harry and D. S., both at home. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister, as follows: Jacob Law, of Sharpsburg; F. P., of Philadelphia; Burgess, of West Superior, Wis., and Mrs. John Price, of Pittsburg. She was a member of the First Baptist church and was much esteemed by a host of friends. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, services to be conducted at the house by Rev. J. S. James. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
