MRS. MARTHA ELLEN PRICE

Aged 91, of 406 Third avenue, died at 6.50 o'clock last evening at her home 
after a brief illness.  She was born in McVeytown on Feb. 26, 1847, a 
daughter of George and Mary (McGarrah) Bortell.  Her husband, Jacob W. Price, 
a veteran of the Civil war, died in February, 1908.  Mrs. Price had resided 
in Altoona for more than sixty-five years.  Surviving are two sons and one 
daughter, George E., at home, James L. and Mrs. Harry Hileman, both of the 
city; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Price 
was a member of the Fifth Avenue Methodist church.  The body may be viewed at 
the home.

PRICE - Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ellen (Bortell) Price, of 403 Third 
avenue, will be conducted by Rev. L. Elbert Wilson, of the Fifth Avenue 
Methodist church, at the home Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock.  Interment in 
Rose Hill cemetery.  Friends are being received at the home after noon today.
