SARAH PRICE Died at her home near Bucyrus, Ohio, on March 31. This venerable lady is well known by many of the older residents of Tyrone and vicinity and especially in Sinking Valley, where she was born and spent her life until 1860, when she moved to what is now called Grazierville, where she lived until 1870, when she moved to Ohio. She was first married to William Benjamin Bailey in 1839, who died in October, 1851. She then married Thomas Price in September, 1854, who died in September, 1866. There were no children to the last named husband, but to the first union were born six children, three sons and three daughters, three of them preceding her to the grave. The three surviving are W. T. Bailey of near Grazierville, Nancy E. Rogers of St. Louis, Mo., and Mariah J. Harvey of near Bucyrus. By her own request her grandsons conveyed her body to the cemetery and consigned it to the tomb. Sarah Price, whose maiden name was Sarah Baird, was the last one of her family to answer the summons of death. She was aged 95 years and 26 days. She was a devout and faithful member of the Baptist church. She is survived by thirty-eight great-grandchildren. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Saturday, April 6, 1907
