(Dad) Pringle, 2616 Seventh avenue, died at Mercy hospital Saturday evening at 11:30 o'clock after a brief illness. He was born in Wilmore, Pa., April 5, 1883 the son of George D. and Lydia (Paul) Pringle. He had been employed as a machinist in the miscellaneous shop of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Mr. Pringle was twice married, his first wife, Mary Catherine Thompson Pringle died March 30, 1920. Members of the family include his second wife, Mrs. Edith C. Taylor Pringle, and these children: Eugene of Altoona, Sgt. Raymond Pringle of U.S. Army in Mississippi, Harold of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Henry L. Joust of Kansas; 10 grandchildren. He was the last of his immediate family. Mr. Pringle was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church, and the Altoona Council 551 Knights of Columbus and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
